The EIBOS Series X TETRAS is an advanced filament dryer with four independent drying chambers, engineered for professional use alongside the Bambu Lab AMS system. It enables efficient, simultaneous drying of multiple filament types ideal for multi material printing or preparing several spools at once.
The two stage drying process starts with active dehumidification, where absorbed moisture is quickly and thoroughly removed from the filament. This is followed by a stable preheating phase that keeps the material dry during printing, improving print quality and adhesion. Once drying is complete, the system automatically switches to a climate neutral storage mode that continues to regulate humidity without requiring further user input.
A key feature of the TETRAS is its full independence: it runs autonomously with its own control system and does not interfere with the AMS firmware or the 3D printer. This makes the setup modular, flexible, and easy to operate perfect for demanding makers, small batch production, and research environments.
Thanks to unlimited runtime, the TETRAS is particularly well-suited for continuous operation and for working with highly hygroscopic materials such as nylon, PVA, or TPU. With plug-and-play integration into the Bambu Lab AMS 1, setup is quick and easy spools remain in the TETRAS and are seamlessly fed into the printing process.
